<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the damage to a DC motor resulting from the rotation together with an AC motor. <P>SOLUTION: In a motor device, an AC motor 1 and a DC motor 4 are connected with and disconnected from each other through a clutch 3. In normal operation, the motor device is operated with the AC motor 1 by disconnecting the DC motor 4 therefrom through the clutch 3, and when the operation with the AC motor 1 can not be performed, the motor device is operated with the DC motor 4 by connecting the DC motor 4 with the AC motor 1 through the clutch 3. The motor device is equipped with a rotation detector 8 for detecting the rotation of the DC motor 4, and when the rotation detector 8 detects the rotation of the DC motor 4 during the drive period of the AC motor 1, the operation of the AC motor 1 is stopped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
