PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypropylene resin pre-expanded particle and a polypropylene resin expanded body causing no unpleasant friction sound (squeaking sound) at a high frequency when friction occurs between the pre-expanded particles, between the expanded bodies, or between the expanded body and another plastic product, metal product, and the like while preventing increase in a molding pressure during molding in a die, deterioration in size precision of the expanded body, and reduction in mechanical strength. SOLUTION: Based on 100 pts.wt. of a polypropylene resin wherein a bending elastic modulus measured in compliance with JIS K7171 is 1300-1700 MPa, 2-12 pts.wt. of polyethylene wax with a melting point of 100-130°C is contained.
