PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inorganic/organic composite coating composition with high mixing stability of an inorganic material and an organic material, excellent storage stability, and further capable of sufficiently performing coating. SOLUTION: The inorganic/organic composite coating composition contains (A) a basic solution of a polyhydroxysiloxane not substantially having an alkoxy group, (B) a water-based organic binder, and (C) a non-ionic viscosity adjustor.
