PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying device allowing specifying of the position of an end part of a workpiece by using an inexpensive detection switch. SOLUTION: A detection means has first and second detection switches arranged side by side in a moving direction of an object. A control means stops a power means when the first detection switch detects the object. A decision means decides that the object stops at a prescribed position when a state in which the second detection switch does not detect the object is continued for prescribed time or more after the first detection switch detects the object. The decision means decides that the object exceeds the prescribed position when the second detection switch detects the object within the prescribed time after the first detection switch detects the object.
