The insect-repelling agent is useful for deodorizing an object, a surface or a room, preferably textile fabrics, human skin and/or hair, household surfaces, waste containers, recycling containers, air, larger household appliances, pets, pet sleeping sites, preferably garments, carpets, curtains, draperies, upholstered furniture, bedding, tents, sleeping bags, car seats, car carpets, car interiors textile linings, counter surfaces, walls, floors, bathroom surfaces, kitchen surfaces, washing machines, dishwashers, dryers, ovens and microwave ovens. The skin or hair-cosmetic composition further comprises: at least a material, preferably active substances, which positively affect the condition of the skin, preferably active substances for the positive influence of the aged skin, preferably in combination with bioquinone, preferably ubiquinone Q10, creatine, creatinine, carnitine, biotin, isoflavone, cardiolipin, lipoic acid, anti-freezing proteins, arctiin, hop- and hop-malt extract; promoting agent for restructuring the connective tissue, preferably isoflavonoid; active substances for supporting the skin functions for dry skin, preferably vitamin C, biotin, carnitine, creatine, propionic acid, green tea extracts, Eucalyptusoil, urea and mineral salts, preferably sodium chloride, sea minerals and osmolyte; active substances to the alleviation and/or positive influence of irritative skin conditions, preferably sericoside, different extracts of sweet wood, licochalcone, preferably licochalcone A, silymarin, Silyphos(RTM: Silybin-phospholipid-vitamin E complex) and dexpanthenol; inhibitors of the prostaglandin metabolism, preferably the cyclooxygenase and leukotriene material change, preferably 5-lipoxygenase or 5-lipoxygenase inhibitor of protein; modulators of pigmentation, preferably tyrosine sulfate, dioic acid (8-hexadecen-1,16-dicarboxylic acid), lipoic acid, liponamide, different extracts of the sweet wood, kojic acid, hydroquinone, arbutin, fruit acids, preferably alpha -hydroxy-acids, bearberry ( Uvae ursi), ursolic acid, ascorbic acid, green tea extracts, aminoguanidine and pyridoxamine; and/or active substances for reinforcing or fastening the browning of skin effects, preferably advanced glycation-end products, lipofuscin, purine, pyrimidine, dihydroxyacetone, erythrulose and nitrogen oxide-free substances. The agent is preferably in the form of cream, lotion, gel, solution, dispersion, emulsion, foam, ointment, spray, aerosol, solution, powder, pin and cloths. The amount of the insect-repelling smelling composition with the components of (a)-(h) in the aqueous treatment fleet is 0.0001-2, preferably 0.001-0.05 g/l.
