<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic conference system for managing appropriately a power supply state of an image forming apparatus so that facilities included in the image forming apparatus can be utilized immediately when required in the electronic conference system, which has the image forming apparatus for printing the data in relation to the electronic conference. <P>SOLUTION: If event information is received, a normal mode transition timing management unit 28 of an electronic conference server 20 supervises the time of a time information column 62 of a timing information recording table 60, which is recorded in the normal mode transition timing information recording unit 27, in accordance with the event information. If the time goes by, the normal mode transition timing management unit 28 transmits a normal mode transition directive command to MFP 30. If a normal mode transition directive command is received, a power saving control unit 39 of the MFP 30 performs operation for shifting from a power saving mode to a normal mode when the MFP 30 is in the power saving mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
