PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem found in a case when a device for atomizing the liquid by applying high voltage is mounted in the refrigerator, that as an electrode portion to which high voltage is applied, is functionally exposed inside of the refrigerator, high voltage is discharged to the human body when a user directly touches the electrode portion inside of the refrigerator, and the user may receive electric shock accompanying pain depending on a level of the discharge. SOLUTION: In this refrigerator in which an atomization electrode 122 and an opposite electrode 123 to which high voltage is applied, are covered by a case 125, and the case 125 is provided with an opening portion 125a at a position where the atomization liquid passes, the opening 125a communicated to the atomization electrode 122 and the opposite electrode 123 from a vegetable compartment 107, has a size minimum to supply the atomization liquid to the vegetable compartment 107, while preventing user's finger from entering therein, so that the user cannot touch the atomization electrode 122 and the opposite electrode 123 in an ordinary use state, and the risk of electrical shock can be prevented.
