PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of the external appearance while reinforcing a symbol display unit. SOLUTION: The symbol display unit 21 is provided with a printed wiring board 24 which has its front end rim 25 formed in a circular arc copying a symbol drum 34 and a connector receiving part 26a with a drive motor 31 connected with a wire and an LED 42 mounted on its surface, a base sheet metal 27 which has its front end rim 28 formed in a circular arc and is fixed on the rear of the printed wiring board 24 with the drive motor 31 inserted through the opening part 24a of the printed wiring board 24, a cover member 50 for covering the front end rims 25 and 28 of the printed wiring board 24 and the base sheet metal 27 respectively and a cover piece 55 positioned ahead of the LED 42, and a reflector member 43 which is fixed on the base sheet metal 27 sandwiching the cover member 50 with the printed wiring board 24 and reflects light from the LED 42 to light the symbol drum 34. In a drum case 60, holding parts which support the portion where the printed wiring board 24 and the base sheet metal 27 overlap each other in a state of being held are formed.
