PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter device increased in crime prevention property though having a safety device for pinching prevention. SOLUTION: In this shutter device 1, an opening part is opened by winding a shutter curtain 14 which is moved along a pair of guide rails 11, 12 vertically installed at a predetermined interval and closed by unwinding the shutter curtain. The shutter device comprises slide plates 18, 21 installed at the lower end of the shutter curtain and vertically movable relative to the shutter curtain and a lock means 30 for automatically prohibiting the relative movement of the slide plate by the ground contact of the slide plate by the closing of the shutter curtain.
