<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To gain an image displaying device which simultaneously displays an magnified image and a part of the whole image which is always displayed on a screen, without narrowing the display area. <P>SOLUTION: A storage part 16 is provided, which stores the information that designates a unmagnified part of an image which a display part displays. When instructing an image-adjusting part 17 to make a magnified display, a control part 15 acquires the information that designates the unmagnifying part from the storage part 16 and instructs the image-adjusting part 17 not to make the non-enlarging part displayed in a magnifying manner. The image-adjusting part 17 adjusts the image signals generated by an image signal processing part 14, so as to display the image signals to be displayed unmagnified, normally, and also display magnified an area commanded to be displayed in a magnifying manner.
