PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing resin coating slide member which is environmentally friendly and can recycle solvent while keeping productivity. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method includes: a coating process of impregnating resin component containing the solvent to a porous sintering layer sintered on a back plate; a heating process of heating the solvent and the resin component; and a recovering process of inhaling the vaporized solvent and recovering it by liquefaction. Therefore, a boiling point is high, and the solvent can be efficiently recovered even when using a solvent low in steam pressure, furthermore the method is suitable for environment by recycling the recovered solvent, and can reduce raw material.
