PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor which can be easily assembled. SOLUTION: In a rotary compressor (C) (a compressor) formed by accommodating in a sealed vessel 1 an electric element 5 and a rotary compression element 8 driven by a rotary shaft 6 of the electric element 5, the step difference 15 is formed on an inner surface on one side of the sealed vessel 1 while arranging the rotary compression element 8 on one side of the sealed vessel 1 and the electric element 5 on the other side. The rotary compression element 8 is brought into contact with the step difference 15. A spring member for constantly biasing a vane 50 to a roller 44 side is formed of C-type spring 60, which is arranged on the side opposite to the cylinder when viewed from a lower support member 48 (a second support member) for blocking an opening in a lower face of the cylinder 40.
