摘要 The present invention discloses a simple, low-cost and high-efficiency method and an apparatus for reducing a lead sulfate compound used in a lead-acid battery. The method mainly generates high-frequency multi-band harmonic waves and non-thermal equilibrium ions by passing a high-frequency power source through a dielectric barrier discharge receptor to reduce a lead sulfate compound on an electrode plate inside the battery, so as to maintain normal electrochemical reactions including the oxidation and reduction of the battery. The apparatus mainly uses a porous conducting material for the dielectric barrier discharge receptor, such that the high-frequency multi-band harmonic waves and non-thermal equilibrium ions produced by the high-frequency voltage can maintain the normal electrochemical reactions including the oxidation and reduction of the battery to extend the life of the battery.
