PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visible light-responsive photocatalyst film-fitted glass article markedly improved in photocatalytic performance even when a photocatalyst film is formed on an ultraviolet-absorbing glass. SOLUTION: A front window glass 1 as a photocatalyst film-fitted glass article is prepared by forming a visible light-responsive photocatalyst film 3 having tungsten oxide particles of an average particle diameter of 0.01-0.05μm on either surface of an ultraviolet-absorbing glass 2 having a transmittance of not more than 50% to ultraviolet light of a wavelength of not more than 380 nm. Since the visible light-responsive photocatalyst film 3 is formed on the one surface of the ultraviolet-absorbing glass 2, light composed mostly of the visible light transmitted through the ultraviolet-absorbing glass 2 can be utilized as the excitation light for the photocatalyst film 3, which markedly improves the photocatalytic performance of the photocatalyst film 3.
