<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alleviate or eliminate damage of a collision object, in case it collided with a headlight of a vehicle from the front. <P>SOLUTION: The headlight is provided with a lamp housing 20 as well as a cover 30 blocking a front opening of the lamp housing, a lamp unit 40, an aiming mechanism 50 supporting the lamp unit in free tilting against the lamp housing, and an extension 60 shielding the aiming mechanism from the front. The aiming mechanism is structured of an aiming fulcrum 51 constituting a lower-side tilting fulcrum of the lamp unit, an aiming screw 52 supported by the lamp housing in free rotation and extended forward, and a synthetic resin bearing 53 supported by a bracket 40a fitted at an upper side of the lamp unit and to which the aiming screw is screwed, and moving back and forth along the aiming screw in accordance with rotation of the aiming screw.
