PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a U press machine for U-shaping a steel sheet in which the operation of inserting a spacer between a bracket and a bed and the operation of taking out the spacer from the space between the bracket and the bed can be smoothly performed, and also the position of the locker die can easily be adjusted. SOLUTION: The U press machine includes: a spacer supporting body 51 capable of supporting a plurality of spacers 30 at a position elevated from a bed 25; and an elevating/lowering body 52 capable of elevating/lowering relative to the spacer supporting body 51. The elevating/lowering body 52 lowers relative to the spacer supporting body 51, thus one or more spacers 30 among a plurality of the spacers 30 are collectively lowered relative to the spacer supporting body 51, and it elevates relative to the spacer supporting body 51, the lowered one or more spacers 51 are collectively elevated relative to the spacer supporting body 51.
