PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luggage loading component to be attached to a wheelchair, which can be attached to/detached from the wheelchair through a simple operation without performing working such as preattachment of an exclusive member to a wheelchair body, and to provide the wheelchair including the component. SOLUTION: The luggage loading component 1 to be attached to the wheelchair is made of a substantially U shape pipe and includes: fitting members 4a, 4b arranged at both end parts of the U shape pipe and mounted on the top parts of caster pipes 9 in the wheelchair; and placement members 6a, 6b arranged at substantially center parts of the U shape pipe. The component 1 includes a length adjustment part 5, thereby adjusting the width and height.
