摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling structure of a rotating electric machine in which parts to be cooled can be cooled efficiently by supplying many coolants to a permanent magnet when the permanent magnet is likely to generate heat, and by supplying the coolant to a coil when the coil is likely to generate heat, in accordance with an operation state of the rotating electric machine. SOLUTION: The cooling structure of the rotating electric machine M which cools the rotating electric machine M equipped with a stator S and a rotor R by circulating the coolants therethrough includes: the permanent magnet PM provided to one of the stator S and the rotor R; the coil C provided to the other one of the stator S and the rotor R; a first flow passage l1 through which the coolants cooling the permanent magnet PM are circulated; a second flow passage l2 through which the coolants cooling the coil C are circulated; and a circulation switching means 10 for switching the circulation states of coolants in the first flow passage l1 and second flow passage l2 based on one or both the number of rotations and the output torque of the rotating electric machine M.
