摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dust passing through a sliding gap of a bypass valve from being attached to a screw mechanism, and thus to guarantee smooth motion of the screw mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: The bypass-intake-flow control apparatus includes a throttle body 1 in which a bypass 4 and a valve hole 5 open into the course of the bypass 4 are formed. The bypass valve 10 to open and close the bypass 4 is slidably but not rotatably fitted into the valve hole 5. An actuator 17 is attached to the throttle body 1 with an output shaft 18 arranged coaxially with the bypass valve 10. The screw mechanism 19 links the output shaft 18 and the bypass valve 10. A bottomed hollow portion 21 is formed in the bypass valve 10 with an opening facing the actuator 17. A dust cover 35 that surrounds the screw mechanism 19 in the hollow portion 21 is attached to the throttle body 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
