PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire improved in wet braking performance and eccentric abrasion resistant performance. SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire comprises an inside cross belt 32 arranged inside in the tire radial direction and having the maxim width in the tire width direction not smaller than 92% and not larger than 100% of the maximum width of a tread 4 in the tire width direction, an outside cross belt 33 arranged outside in the tire radial direction and having the maximum width in the tire width direction less than that of the inside cross belt and having a tire widthwise outer end 331 arranged more outside in the tire width direction than an inside edge part 42a of the outermost land part 421, which is formed outermost in the tire width direction, in the tire width direction, a plurality of open sipes 51 penetrating through the outermost land part in the tire width direction and formed along the tire circumferential direction, and lug grooves 6 respectively extending along the open sipes in the tread 42b of the outermost land part and having a tire widthwise outer end 6a positioned between a tire widthwise outer end 321 of the inside cross belt and a tire widthwise outer end of the outside cross belt.
