PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device acquiring stable charging bias output even when a charging output current changes rapidly, and performing a constant current control of a charging AC bias with a high precision. SOLUTION: A charging bias generation circuit for outputting a charging bias to a charging roller is provided to the main body of the image forming device that has a charging roller for charging the surface of a photosensitive drum. The charging bias generation circuit has: an AC bias generation circuit; a DC bias generation circuit 279; and a current detection circuit 278 for detecting an AC current generated in the AC bias generation circuit. The AC bias generation circuit is directly connected to the DC bias generation circuit 279, and the DC bias generation circuit 279 is directly connected to the current detection circuit 278.
