<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of reducing a delay amount concerning image processing. <P>SOLUTION: A first image processing circuit (a preprocessing part 102, a gain map generation processing part 104, a gain generation part 107) performs first processing to an image for processing. A second image processing circuit (an interpolation processing part 111) performs second processing different from the first processing to the image for processing in parallel with the first processing. An image storage part 112 synchronizes output from the first image processing circuit with output from the second image processing circuit.
