PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening cover apparatus capable of preventing the fall of an opening cover with a simple mechanism. SOLUTION: The opening cover apparatus is provided with the opening cover for covering an opening formed in a casing. The opening cover is composed of a cover body and a locking piece formed at the upper end of the cover body. The locking piece is provided on the cover body so as to incline outward at a certain angle, and the locking piece is detachably engaged with an engaging hole formed at the upper edge part of the opening. When the locking piece is about to escape from the engaging hole by the own weight of the cover body, an inner body section and an outer body section of the locking piece are brought into contact with the outer hole wall of the engaging hole and the bottom wall of a recessed section, and its frictional resistance prevents the locking piece from escaping from the engaging hole.
