Insertion of a micro-needle into a living body is made easy. The micro-needle (121) includes first and second end sections (121a, 121b) arranged in a longitudinal direction and includes a biocompatible material, wherein the first end section (121a) tapers down from it's end on a side of the second end section (121b) toward another end thereof and the maximum apical angle of the first end section (121a) falls within a range of 9 to 53°.
