FIELD: information technology. ^ SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to devices for authenticating banknotes. The device contains a rotary device, mounted with the possibility of rotating in a casing, actuating device for rotating the rotary device, roller mechanism located around the outer circular surface of rotary device and in contact with it. A banknote put into the device, is swallowed and wound up its entire length around the rotating rotary device. As a result the banknote can be safely moved with rotation by a transporting device, preventing bank from slipping and preventing unauthorised extraction of the banknotes using an extracting device. After that a sensor detects the physical characteristics of the banknote. The authentication device removes the banknote from the rotary device and takes it out through its output. ^ EFFECT: improved the reliability of the device by prevention of banknotes getting stuck without the use of conveyor belts. ^ 21 cl, 26 dwg |
