The invention concerns an arrangement for a direct drive generator (2) for a wind turbine (1), which generator (2) comprises a stator (17) with several stator segments (28) each stator segment (28) having at least one stator element (33) for the power generation and which generator (2) comprises a rotor (16) pivotable around a centre axis (A) of the generator (2) and relatively to the stator (17) with several rotor segments (20) each rotor segment (20) having at least one rotor element (25) for the power generation, wherein said arrangement comprises at least one stator segment (28) and at least one rotor segment (20), and wherein the at least one stator segment (28) and the at least one rotor segment (20) are able to be at least temporarily supported against each other. The invention concerns further a direct drive generator (2) comprising such an arrangement, a wind turbine (1) comprising such a direct drive generator (2) as well as a method for the assembly of the direct drive generator (2). |
