The invention relates to extremely safe storage of different objects, in particular cars on parkings and also particularly valuable objects such as historical-archival and archaeological relics, bank gold and currency reserves, including individual safety-deposit boxes, etc. The inventive method is based on the combined application for new purposes of at least five individually well known actions and corresponding devices. The characterising features of the invention make it possible to use for underground (underwater) storage special palettes, on which objects to be stored are placed and additionally closed from the top by means of protective caissons, and to simultaneously form inside said caissons a chemically specified, totally controllable and, above all, totally fire-safe gas atmosphere in storage sections (chambers), themselves.
