摘要 The invention relates to a method for producing hydrocyanic acid by catalytic dehydration of gaseous formamide in a tubular reactor comprising at least one reaction channel in which the catalytic dehydration occurs, wherein the reaction channel comprises an inner surface made of a material having an iron portion of = 50 wt.-%, and no additional catalysts and/or built-in components are present in the reaction channel, and the at least one reaction channel has an average hydraulic diameter of 0.5 to 6 mm. The invention further relates to a reactor having the features mentioned above and the use of the reactor according to the invention for producing hydrocyanic acid by catalytic dehydration of gaseous formamide.
