<p>A communication system includes a plurality of communication terminals, a plurality of base stations, and a plurality of wireless network controllers for controlling the wireless communication among the communication terminals. At least one first wireless network controller has a bandwidth control section to control the wireless communication bandwidth of a communication terminal under the control of the first wireless network controller, and a bandwidth upkeep request section to request a second wireless network controller in charge of controlling a second communication terminal which is a peer communication party to keep up the communication bandwidth of the second communication terminal in the present state in response to the communication bandwidth of one of the communication terminals under the control of the first wireless network controller being lowered by the bandwidth control section.Upon request of keeping up the communication bandwidth of one of the communication terminals under the control of the first wireless network controller in the present state, the bandwidth control section keeps up the communication bandwidth of one communication terminal in the present state during a specified period of time, and resumes a control over the communication bandwidth after elapse of the specified period of time.</p> |
