A knuckle hinge includes a hinge member with integral hollow fixing pins 10, the transition between the knuckle 7 and the pins being formed by a leaf 8 provided with trough shaped portions 9 which merge into the peripheral cylindrical surfaces of the pins and establish a continuous or substantially continuous surface therewith. The leaf 8 may extend along the axial length of the knuckle, as shown, and be provided with a trough shaped portion for each of the pins, or a narrow leaf with a trough shaped portion may be associated with each pin. The hinge member is secured to woodwork by driving the fixing pins into holes in the wood, holes 15.in the pins being optionally provided to receive additional retaining screws or the like. A fixing lug 6 may also be provided. |
