PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display unit for a vehicle favorable in convenience capable of speedily displaying desired vehicle information. SOLUTION: This display unit for the vehicle is furnished with a display means 3 to display vehicle information loaded on the vehicle, an operation switch 1 to transmit a signal in accordance with pressing operation of an operator and a control means 2 to output a control signal to urge to change and display the vehicle information in accordance with the signal from the operation switch 1, and the control means 2 sets a plurality of the vehicle information in a plurality of groups by relating them to each other, carries out operation determining processing to determine whether the operation switch 1 is operated in a plural number of times within a prescribed period of time or not in accordance with the signal from the operation switch 1 and outputs the control signal to urge to change a screen to the vehicle information of another group from the vehicle information currently displayed on the display means 3 in accordance with this determination result.
