PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball seat preventing entering of material when molding a socket while ensuring lubricity. SOLUTION: The ball seat 13 rotatably retaining the ball part of a ball stud on a retaining surface 36 is used as a core for molding the socket, thereby improving manufacturability. Since a grease reservoir 32 is formed in the retaining surface 36 by forming the ball seat 13 separately from the ball part, slidability of the ball part is ensured by grease stored in the grease reservoir 32. By separating the retaining surface 36 from the side of the socket, material of a socket body is prevented from wrapping around into the side of the retaining surface 36 when molding the socket.
