<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic shelf label system having a shelf label server automatically executing handling necessary for a display to an electronic shelf label even if the power of the electronic shelf label is once turned off when the power of the electronic shelf label is turned on after that in the electronic shelf label system. <P>SOLUTION: This electronic shelf label system is constituted by the shelf label server 2 and the electronic shelf label 1a being communicated with each other, the electronic shelf label 1a has a shelf label ID, and the electronic shelf label 1a receives and displays shelf label display information transmitted from the shelf label server 2, wherein the shelf label server 2 stores the shelf label display information associated with the shelf label ID as shelf label registration information, collates the storage state of the shelf label display information to the electronic shelf label 1a using the shelf label ID and, when it is non-stored, searches the shelf label display information from the shelf label registration information based on the shelf label ID and transmits the shelf label display information to the electronic shelf label 1a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
