<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize uniform cooling of a battery by reducing occurrence of pressure loss. <P>SOLUTION: The battery pack includes a plurality of battery cells 1 and an insulating separator 10 which is arranged between respective battery cells 1 in the state the plurality of battery cells 1 are arranged in mutually laminated state with a prescribed gap. The separator 10 has a plurality of lines of gas passages for passing cooling gas, and the gas passages have an entrance and an exit of the cooling air opened on the side face side of a battery block laminating the battery cells 1, and furthermore, the separator 10 has a cut region so that the entrance and the exit portions of the gas passage may be at a lower position than the side face of the battery block. Thereby, the cooling gas can be guided and exhausted smoothly in the vicinity of the entrance and the exit, and pressure loss of the cooling gas in these portions is reduced to lower pressure difference between the entrance side and the exit side, and cooling capacity can be brought to nearly constant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
