PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leg device of furniture, such as a chair or the like, which can support a plurality of chairs, tables, sofas, benches or the like, can make both ends of a linkage rod connected simply and securely between leg members arranged in both right and left leg bodies, excels in appearance, and prevents the leg body and the linkage rod from uncoupling although a linkage screw is loosened. SOLUTION: The leg device of furniture, such as a chair or the like, keeps both ends of a horizontal linkage rod connected between leg members arranged in leg bodies of both right and left sides, has an oblong depression 13 formed in an attachment part 11 prepared on the top of an inverted U-shaped leg member 6, makes the end of the linkage rod 8 fit into the depression, and a bolt 19 penetrating through the depression from outside is screwed to the end of the linkage rod.
