<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein a system constitution by a flexible integration can not be changed since the constitution of communication data and a remarkable change of the whole system are required when a plurality of on-vehicle devices are integrated from a conventional on-vehicle communication system by using a microcomputer to control communication. <P>SOLUTION: In this semiconductor device, a multi-local station identifier storage region 8 for storing a plurality of local station identifiers, transmission data buffer storage region and reception data buffer storage region opposed to the local station identifiers, an identifier coincidence detection circuit 14 for detecting the identifier to be a communication request object, an external factor generation circuit 15 for generating an interruption factor opposed to the identifier for which communication is requested, and a communication identification control circuit 19 performing a series of controls for each circuit for every kind of communication are added.
