PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that in a fire alarm device of which a connector is separated until on-site installation, when connection of the connector is neglected, if an operation test in the on-site installation is not performed, the separation state is not noticed, and a state of non-monitoring where the fire alarm device is not activated remains unnoticed. SOLUTION: The fire alarm device includes an alarm circuit part for detecting smoke caused by the fire, heat, and the like, and generating the alarm, a battery for supplying power to the alarm circuit part, a main part for accommodating the alarm circuit part and the battery, and an attachment base fixed to the installation surface and for latching the main part detachably, in which by connecting one end of the connector connected to a battery to the other end of the connector connected to the alarm circuit part, the power is supplied from the battery to the alarm circuit part. The fire alarm device is configured such that the main part includes a connector holding part for holding the unconnected connector, and an abutting part for abutting with the connector held in the connector holding part, thus preventing the engagement with the attachment base of the main part in the attachment base.
