PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a constitution of an image output device which hardly causes an influence upon printing quality on paper without the need for an additional constitution for ejecting a paper discharge tray. SOLUTION: Printing paper is once conveyed by a conveyance means for conveying paper and the paper discharge tray is ejected by conveying the paper. After ejecting the paper discharge tray, the paper is returned for printing to a printing start position by the conveyance means, thus ejecting the paper discharge tray without any influence upon printing.
