<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enhanced polling method for preventing deadlock in a radio communication system. <P>SOLUTION: The polling method in the radio communication system comprises: a process for prohibiting polling within a first prescribed period; a process for starting a poll function while the polling is prohibited; a process for determining that there are no PDUs scheduled for transmission or retransmission and that there are at least one PDU that has been transmitted already but has not been responded yet; and a process for selecting the PDU for scheduling retransmission and executing a polling function. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
