<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a room entrance/exit control system which brings about improved convenience of authentic users of a building while maintaining high security. <P>SOLUTION: According to the room entrance/exit control system, rooms A to D that are designated as monitoring regions, each have set therein a camera 4 for photographing the entire room, and an antenna 4 for receiving a signal transmitted from an RF tag installed in an RFIF card carried by the authentic user. Doors 3a to 3c of the rooms A to C which are ordinarily available and a door 3e of a facility 1 are kept opened in normal times. In the rooms A to C, if the number of persons photographed by the cameras 4a to 4c does not correspond to the number of the detected RF tags, or if a person having entered the room is recognized as one who is not permitted to use the room concerned, based on a user ID transmitted from the RF tag in spite of correspondence between the number of the persons and the number of the detected RF tags, the room entrance/exit control system determines that an unauthentic user has entered the room concerned, and the door 3 of the room concerned is locked. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
