<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out simulation with a small computation load, more approximate to reality in regard to temperature. <P>SOLUTION: In a simulation method, pulverized coal combustion is simulated on the basis of modeling assuming that a volatile portion discharged by pyrolizing of particles of pulverized coal due to temperature rise is composed by including at least a first component, a second component with a molecular formula different from the first component, and a third component with the same molecular formula as the first component but with different standard enthalpy of formation, and on the basis of computation of combustion of pulverized coal, and fluid dynamics. It is assumed that, in the first component and the second component, one is comprised of only carbon atoms and the other is comprised of only hydrogen atoms, or that the first component and the second component are respectively comprising hydrocarbons with different composition ratios of hydrogen atoms to carbon atoms. A mass ratio of the first component and the third component in the volatile portion is adjusted to equalize a calorific value calculated based on the modeling, and a calorific value based on technical analysis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
