PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of an interior trim product for an automobile for eliminating a gap at a connecting portion of an upper side interior trim product and a lower side interior trim product and preventing the lower side interior trim product from opening to the outside. SOLUTION: In this mounting structure, a connecting part 3a having sidewall parts 31 and 32 extended from both sides of a base wall part 30 and a substantial U-shape in cross section is provided at an end part of the one interior trim product 1, a receiving part 7a having side plate parts 71 and 72 extended from both sides of a base plate part 70 and a shape analogous to the cross section of the connecting part 3a is provided at an end part of the other interior trim product 5, the receiving part 7a is overlapped with the connecting part 3a from the outside, and the other interior trim product 5 is connected to the one interior trim product 1. A projection 35 is formed on each vertically long end face at distal ends of both sidewall parts of the U-shaped connecting part 3a, planar pawls 74 formed with through-holes 75 are projectingly provided to be opposed at portions corresponding to the projections 35 on both internal surfaces close to the distal ends of both side plate parts of the receiving part 7a. The receiving part 7a is overlapped with the connecting part 3a from the outside, the planar pawls 74 are mounted on the vertically long end faces 31c, the projections 35 are inserted into the through-holes 75, and the other interior trim product 5 is connected to the one interior trim product 1.
