PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic hardware capable of implementing magnetic sensing stably even if electron elements generating direct-current magnetic field exists in the vicinity, without reducing degree of freedom of layout of electron elements in cell-phones. SOLUTION: An electron compass 1c includes a hard bias layer making a direction along a principal surface of a basal to be the direction of bias application to magnetoresistive element and has a sensitivity shaft to a direction perpendicular to the direction of bias application. In the electron compass 1c, a direction X of the direct-current magnetic field is establishes as a direction which does not weaken the bias magnetic field of the hard bias layer. That is, the electron compass 1c is mounted on the basal so as to make the direction of bias application which does not weaken bias field of the hard bias layer to the direction X of the direct-current magnetic field.
