PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide portable communication equipment for achieving highly reliable communication by suppressing the occurrence of any noise with a high communication speed maintained. SOLUTION: This portable communication equipment is provided with a connection part 2210; a base band circuit 220; a bridge IC 230 as a relay integrated circuit arranged between the base band circuit 220 and the connection part 210; a signal conversion part 240 interposed between the bridge IC 230 and the base band circuit 220; a parallel communication path 290 and a control signal line 300 for connecting the base band circuit 220 to the signal conversion part 240; and a serial communication path 320 and a control signal line 310 for connecting the bridge IC 230 to the signal conversion part 240. The signal conversion part 240 converts the serial data by the bridge IC 230 into parallel data, and transfers the parallel data into the parallel communication path 290, and converts the parallel data into the serial data by the base band circuit 220 into the serial data, and transfers the serial data to a serial communication path 320.
