PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter which is of a simple structure and generates no foreign matters from the filter itself. SOLUTION: The filter 181 comprises a circular sheet filter element 211 and a ring shaped element holder 212 holding the filter element 211, and the element holder 212 includes, on the inner peripheral surface, an annular receiving holder 213 surrounding an element installing step part 216 having a set surface set with the filter element 211, and an annular pressing holder 214 having a pressing surface pressing and fixing the filter element 211 onto the set surface and having an annular pressing-into part 217 pressed into the element installing step part 216.
