USAGE MODE-BASED ANTENNA SELECTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve signal reception and to more surely perform radio communication in an apparatus having a radio communication function.

SOLUTION: An application mode of a radio communication apparatus is determined (704) based on a direction or a configuration in which the radio communication apparatus is used, and from among a sub-set of plurality of antennas disposed in four corners of the radio communication apparatus, a lateral array (706) or a longitudinal array (708) is selected which is a best sub-set of antennas being farthest-end from a user for radio communication corresponding to the application mode.
