PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power working machine used safely and having a relatively simple constitution in which a throttle lever can be easily held in a position in which an engine is driven at an appropriate rotation rate. SOLUTION: A bush cutter includes a throttle lever 23 with a leaf spring 27 and a case 20a with a U-shaped member 21 facing the leaf spring 27. When the throttle lever 23 reaches a prescribed intermediate position from an idling position, ends 27c, 27c of the leaf spring 27 come in contact with tips 21b, 21b of the U-shaped member 21. This prevents the throttle lever 23 from rotating further and makes it possible for a worker to stably hold the throttle lever 23 in the intermediate position. When the worker releases his/her hand from the throttle lever 23, a return spring 26 immediately springs the throttle lever 23 back to the idling position, thus stopping the rotation of a cutter blade 7.
