PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine enhanced in operability when selecting a bonus game and game information about the game such as sound volume during the game, and reduced in cost without separately providing an operation means for performing this operation. SOLUTION: The game machine (1) includes: reels (3L, 3C, 3R) having a plurality of display parts for displaying a plurality of kinds of patterns; a liquid crystal display part (5a) for displaying a guide menu regarding the game by the pattern and the game information such as a sound volume control screen; a start lever (6) which a game player can operate; and a start switch (6S) for outputting a game start command signal for commanding the start of a unit game according to the operation of the start lever (6) by the player. When the guide menu and the game information such as the sound volume control screen are displayed by the liquid crystal display part (5a), a start device (300) which selects one alternative from prescribed alternatives based on the operation mode of the start lever (6) is provided.
