<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator control device driving an elevator so as to be reciprocated in a short time between the lowest floor and the highest floor without upsizing equipment of the elevator. <P>SOLUTION: This elevator control device includes a motor (6) driving a sheave (5) for hanging a wire rope (3) with an elevator car (2) and a counterweight (4) hung at its both ends.
