PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microdevice suitable for processing such as separation, immobilization, analysis, extraction, purification or reaction of a target material. SOLUTION: The microdevice having particles bondable with the target material and a member provided with a plurality of hollows has characteristics wherein a material or a functional group bondable with the target material is immobilized on the surface of a particle body, and the density of the particle is 3.5-23 g/cm<SP>3</SP>, and the plurality of hollows can store the particles.
